In the same way an athlete must train, a musician must rehearse, and a dancer must practice until their muscles remember how to move, the mind also needs a frequent routine. A daily routine of intentionally seeking stillness - to remind it how to slow down and let the soul take the lead.
Today’s sound activation is your invitation to take up that practice and pause with intention. The mind responds to the words, and the soul responds to the frequency (music). When the mind and soul are spoken to in a language they each understand, it allows the dormant soul to awaken, and inform the wayward mind how to receive and process the words. This is how to transition from a mind-led way of operating, to a soul-led one. I compose this music, and create these daily sound activations to help me with this transition each morning, and if you find them helpful, then they are for you also.

To the ones who’ve been waiting quietly, tending the soil of their lives, who now feel a flicker rising, a restlessness that doesn’t want escape, but expression. To those whose dreams are no longer content to live in the background. We send our light to the ones ready to bring vision to flame.
May my fire be guided by the soul that lit it
I let the spark move me, but not consume me.
I honor the part of me that’s ready to begin again.
I balance vision with patience, urgency with presence.
I plant my power where it can root and rise.
I trust the fire to clarify, not just burn.
There is energy here - not chaotic, but alive.
It’s time to give form to what’s been brewing in the unseen.
Today, the sky lights a new kind of fire
Push gently.
Move deliberately.
Let this ignition feel sacred, not scattered.
The dream now demands a body.
The threshold is real.
