The Frequency Conspiracy: Why Did The Frequencies Mysteriously Vanish?
Episode 2 - The Quest for Ancient Sound Codes, Lost Frequencies, and the Truth They Tried to Bury
The Lost Tones of the Ancients
Before we can build on what the ancients knew, we need to understand where their wisdom came from…and why it mysteriously disappeared.
I’m investigating how to design music that isn’t just an emotional cinematic journey, but is music designed to heal, recalibrate, and gently move humans into their truest, freest, most aligned of themselves.
This is my deep dive into frequencies, modern myths, conspiracies and answering the question:
Have we been tuning ourselves to the wrong frequency all this time?
Welcome to The Frequency Conspiracy - Episode 2.
Music as Medicine
As the world seems to be collapsing into corruption, chaos and cortisol, I believe there is a sonic hope. I believe being aware and intentional of the frequencies we surround ourselves in everyday life could very well that hope we’re looking for.
We can heal.
Not just ourselves and each other, but we can heal the world.
So let’s remember what the ancients already knew: Music is Medicine.
Grab a coffee (make it a double), maybe a doughnut… and let’s go nuts for Solfeggio.
(Sorry. Bad pun. Not sorry.)
In the Beginning, There Was Tone
According to musicologist Professor Willi Apel, the origins of the Solfège syllables (Ut, Re, Mi, etc.) trace back to the early sacred music of Gregorian chant.
These syllables were used in a medieval hymn composed by 11th-century monk Guido D’Arezzo, each line starting on a higher pitch. This formed the basis of a six-note pedagogical scale used to teach pitch relationships to singers.
Fast forward to the 16th century and this six-tone system evolved into the twelve-tone equal temperament system we still use today. The ancient syllables (Ut, Re, Mi) were developed into the Solfège system we use today (do, re, mi etc). Yes, that famous song from The Sound of Music. It’s all about the Solfège system (I want jam and bread now…)
Fast forward again to 1970s and here’s where it gets interesting. Specific frequencies were assigned to these syllables as part a modern day vibrational healing framework.
These tones became known as the Solfeggio frequencies.
Why Did the Original Scale Change?
The theories vary.
Some are logical, some a little more entertaining. But either way, it makes my quest for ancient wisdom a little more fun.
Some say the rise of the keyboard and orchestral instruments in the 17th century led to the adoption of the the twelve-tone scale we use in today’s music. The explanation being that the new twelve-note scale offered composers more flexibility and harmonic complexity to play with.
Others claim it was a matter of practicality: a shift toward a more standardised and “musically logical” system for composers.
Others believe the tones were lost slowly over centuries, fading from cultural memory like many ancient practices do.
And of course…(cue X-file theme)
…there is the conspiracy theory.
Some say they were lost deliberately. An intentional suppression.
The original six-tone scale is believed to have granted humans a higher state of spiritual awareness, sharper intuition and a stronger connection to the natural resonance of the earth. According to this theory, the modern day twelve-tone scale is said to suppress our emotions, stifle our intuition, and limiting our consciousness.
They say the twelve-tone scale deliberately replaced the Solfeggio scale as a subtle act of vibrational control, designed to dull our sensitivity, dampen our intuition and disconnect us from truth and nature. The theory also goes on to say that the now used scale is out of sync with the natural world (I’ll expand this idea in the next blog), and can thus influence the manifestation of physical symptoms like fatigue, pain, stress and even disease.
To be clear:
That is just a conspiracy theory I stumbled upon on my quest.
It is indeed juicy (and a bit of fun to indulge), but there is also no historical research to confirm a deliberate suppression, and this theory is speculative at best.
Whatever the reason for the disappearance of the sacred tones, it turns out the vibrational loss was only temporary.
Because energy and truth do no vanish - they wait.
Very patiently, they wait.
Keepers of the Code
Enter stage right: Dr. Joseph Puleo - a researcher credited with reviving the sacred Solfeggio tones in the 1970’s. It’s a very long (and head-achy story), involving Pythagorean mathematics combined with the biblical book of Numbers.
The short version: Puleo uncovered a numerical pattern encoded in the scripture. He derived a frequency (Hz) to the numbers, and paired them to the ancient syllables introduced by Guido D’Arezzo (yes the monk from before). Puleo reinterpreted these as a vibrational healing system.
These are now known as the Solfeggio frequencies.
Enter stage left: Dr. Leonard Horowitz - author and prominent figure in the alternative wellness and sound healing arenas.
Fun Fact: Dr. Leonard Horowitz was actually trained as a dentist, but gradually moved toward writing, often exploring fringe or conspiracy-related topics.
Horowitz has been an influential voice popularising the Solfeggio frequencies.
Together, Puleo and Horowitz published their findings in Healing Codes for the Biological Apocalypse, the book said to have reignited interest in this ancient sonic wisdom.
And this is where I come in,
armed with a music studio and new coffee machine.
Not to repackage mysticism, but to explore where these ancient frequencies might take us when combined with today’s technology, musical intuition, and cinematic storytelling.
The 6 Primary Solfeggio Frequencies
Each of the original six tones is said to be a tuning fork for a different part of the soul, spirit and system. These associations are widely shared in modern vibrational healing communities. They are measured in Hertz (Hz) meaning how many times the soundwave vibrates per second. I wrote about this measurement system in a previous blog (if you want to understand this further).
Droll roll please…
396 Hz = Emotional Release Tone.
This tone helps release the subconscious weight of shame, guilt, and fear, grounding us back into safety and strength.417 Hz = The Reset Tone
This frequency helps break negative cycles and clears energetic stagnation.
It’s said to unhook us from trauma stored in the subconscious and supports new beginnings.528 Hz = The Miracle Tone
This is the frequency most commonly associated with cellular healing, DNA regeneration, and heart activation.639 Hz = The Unity Tone
This frequency supports deep connection, within partnerships, families, communities, and also within the self. This is the tone of empathy.741 Hz = The Detox/Truth Tone
This tone is said to detoxify the body and mind.
This frequency is also linked to clear speech and truth-telling.852 Hz = The Intuition Tone
This frequency supports intuition, clarity, and higher consciousness.
It tunes your field to your authentic self, often experienced as a return to “truth”,
both inner and universal.
…But Wait…There’s More
In the early to mid 2000s, a new wave of healers and alternative medicine practitioners began building upon the Solfeggio revival, and an extra three tones were added to the list.
174 Hz = The Grounding Tone
Said to relieve pain, reduce tension, and restore a deep sense of safety in the body. This tone plants your feet on the earth.285 Hz = The Cellular Blueprint Tone
Linked to tissue regeneration and organ healing.
This tone is an internal “reset to factory setting” button.963 Hz = The God Tone
This one lights up the pineal gland and is said to open a portal to divine consciousness. It’s the crown jewel of the Solfeggio system, tuning you to unity, wholeness, and source (as some say it was always meant to be)..
Wait… Aren’t You Forgetting the Famous 432 Hz?
Great question.
I had the same thought mid cookie.
I haven’t forgotten it, but this one definitely comes with a plot twist:
432 Hz isn’t part of the Solfeggio system…
but it might be the most significant frequency of all.
It’s said to vibrate in perfect harmony with the Earth’s heartbeat.
It’s the frequency that your body naturally responds to for calm, coherence.
…but…
The modern musical world has been tuned to 440 Hz, not 432 Hz.
What if our entire sonic reality has been hijacked?
What if we’ve been unconsciously tuning our bodies, minds, and spirits to the wrong frequency this whole time?
Is the world deliberately designed to keep us out of tune?
Can we tune ourselves back?

I was reading it and was wait à second, what about the 432hz ànd yeah that was deliberate ànd part of the lowering of our frequency when they changed it to 440… I have a great article on the way thé elites keep us low vibed…
I had a dream the other night that someone was trying to force me to have a neuralink chip implanted in my brain, but a group of musicians, dressed as rebels slinging harps and saxophones and flutes and cellos, came through and the person threatening me ran away. I believe this was my dream's way of saying that artists and particularly musicians play an important role in combatting the awfulness of corruption and bringing healing, freedom, and light to the people. Thank you for bringing us the medicine of music.
