The Song I Wrote for When You’re Fuelled by Fire, Armed with Truth, and Done With Quiet
You don’t need another playlist. You need an anthem. This is the song you play when you forget how powerful you are. The one that reminds - right before you stand again. When you're done being small
Armoured in Truth, Open to Love
You know those 3am wake-ups.
The ones where your nervous system becomes a very rude alarm clock.
It’s dark.
It’s cold.
It’s too early for anything - but your whole body
is lit up with truth, and it can be uncomfortable
Your chest is tight.
You’re lying there, blinking into the dark, knowing with unshakable certainty: something is not okay.
You might not be able to name it, but your body knows.
The wisdom in your bones knows.
And it’s whispering (or screaming):
”Something has to change”.
Take charge.
Take action.
(Scroll down to hear the song: It’s waiting for you)
Burying your head in the sand won’t fix it.
And ignoring the guidance won’t help you get back to peace.
Some truths demand to be looked in the eye.
But you’re tired.
Nervous about the fallout.
That old “I hate confrontation” voice kicks in, and suddenly martyrdom feels easier than self-respect.
You take the hit.
Again.
Then comes the guilt. That feeling in your gut: “Why did I let this happen?”
That’s where this song was born.
On the floor.
Somewhere between rage and rising.
From Shadow to Sound
"The Way of the Warrior" is not a song about revenge.
It’s a song about choosing integrity.
It’s not being afraid of the burn of righteous rage.
About standing up with grace when you’ve been knocked sideways.
About choosing not to shrink, not to become the victim of the very thing that tried to make you small.
It’s a song for the feelers.
The ones who rage and cry and still choose kindness in the face of injustice.
For the ones that say ‘enough’.
It says:
Put on your armour.
We’re going in.
Truth As Weapon, Kindness As Shield
I wanted a frequency that could hold:
The righteous rage (you’re allowed it)
The tender heart (don’t lose it)
The shaking hands (you can still fight)
The refusal to dim yourself to keep others comfortable
The full-bodied “no” to being made small
This song is a sonic sword.
It’s hard to walk back into the space where you were hurt -
by silence,
by dismissal,
by being made small,
by betrayal
and still stand tall.
But you can.
And if not today, then maybe tomorrow.
This track will still be here.
Maybe you need to:
Face the person who hurt you and not crumble
Stand up for your boundaries even if your voice shakes
Ask for the pay rise, the respect, the damn seat at the table
Cry in the car and then go change the world anyway
You don’t need to be fearless. You just need to be willing.
If this song finds you mid-battle, may it pour strength down your spine.
If you’re on the floor, know that even from there, you can rise in power.
The Ritual to Receive This Song:
This sonic sidekick is a cinematic frequency journey -
made for transformation and empowerment.
But to really receive it - you’ve got to choose presence.
Use headphones. You can use speakers or play it in your car, but the song is designed in wide stereo to create a fully immersive experience. Headphones allow your nervous system to be completely present with the music, deepen the envelopment and access the full scope of the emotion.
Find a comfy, quiet, safe space. Be in a place where your nervous system can fully exhale. Eliminate all distractions - an eye mask can help you go even further.
You want to allow your nervous system the opportunity to fully engage with the energy and resonance of this song.Bring a warm drink or snack. It’s all about creating a safe environment that allows your system to relax and receive. (A toastie or gooey chocolatey snack, or a hot cacao is strongly encouraged).
Sit or lie down. Press play. Close your eyes. Breathe.
Feel whatever comes up. Hope. Anger. Curiosity. Defiance. Excitement. Nothingness. Just don’t push it away and don't judge it. Let it speak. Give yourself permission and patience to be with your emotion.
Allow your body permission to receive the resonance. Give yourself permission and freedom to move and physically receive the music. For me, it’s moving my feet or head along with the music, sometimes I’ll raise/wave my hands as if i’m conducting my emotions, sometimes I laugh, sometimes I sob. It’s about emotional freedom to respond without judgement. Just truth.
The resonance knows what to do. Trust it.
Let this song resonate with the power already living inside you.
Hold your ground - with your heart still open.
Stay rooted in truth.
Be the force that doesn’t fight for war, but for truth
Because not every warrior carries a sword.
Some carry silence.
Some carry boundaries.
And some carry the the sacred, spine-strong word: “no.”
I made this song resonate.
To help you remember who you are, even when you’ve almost forgotten.
It’s for your righteous rage, your soft strength, your one-last-try energy.
If something stirred in you, I’d love to know.
Leave a comment, share it on, or just whisper to yourself:
“I felt it. And I stood a little taller.”
That’s the whole point. Truly.

I always said cars were made for crying in :) this will be my bedtime song..thank you
Wow! This incredible song was published on an important day in my timeline. While I didn’t see the post then, and may not have understood the significance of what took place at that moment in my life as well as I do now… it gave me soul shivers to listen today. As the music played, I gathered up all the energy that rose from within and sent it back to the version of me that needed to summon considerable courage. She is far braver than she knows, and stronger than she thinks. I know she received it! 🥹 Listening took me on a real journey and gave me ‘Alice slaying the Jabberwocky’ vibes. Beautiful, powerful and relatable!! ❤️🩹 My sincere gratitude. Thank you so much for putting this together and offering it up to us. 🙏💫
