Dear friends,
Overthinking is awful. When the minds starts spinning, the spiral is relentless. The antidote…music and movement. One way to shortcut the anxiety spiral, is to literally groove and toe tap your way back to the present moment.
So…I’ve been creating a somatic movement album, and before it’s released into the wild, The Resonance Room Plus+ members are getting early access. I’d love to hear your thoughts, your experience with this music, what landed, what moved you and what dance moves blurted out.
This is RELEASE - track one of catchy somatic movement music. Track two - RESET is now live in the Resonance Room Plus+. These tracks work as standalones, but they also are a consecutive journey. RESTORE is next (with more coming) but for right now…we RELEASE then RESET.
This music is designed for movement, big or small. The key is not to judge the movement, or overthink the body’s response, but to simply get out of your cognitive way, and let it be an authentic kinaesthetic reaction. Swaying, tapping, head bopping, toe wiggling…full on dance party, whatever. The music is simply the key that unlocks whatever your body needs to do to move energy.
You have to feel it to free it.
