Unexpressed emotions are not benign. Those niggling feelings that we bury or desperately try to ignore don’t just disappear…but they wait. We tell ourselves we’re saving the emotions for a more convenient breakdown, but buried feelings aren’t usually compliant. We have little control over when they explode, and let’s be honest, they have a habit of resurfacing at the absolute worst moment.
So here is your invitation to shimmy your way back to center, calm, groundedness and a less reactive temperament. Plus, it just feels good - your nervous system thank you.
This is RESET - the second track of catchy somatic movement music, and as always, the Resonance Room Plus+ friends are getting an exclusive first listen. These tracks work as standalones, but they also are a consecutive journey. RELEASE came first, RESTORE is next (with more coming) but for right now…we RESET.
This music is designed for movement, big or small. The key is not to judge the movement, or overthink the body’s response, but to simply get out of your cognitive way, and let it be an authentic kinaesthetic reaction. Swaying, tapping, head bopping, toe wiggling…full on dance party, whatever. The music is simply the key that unlocks whatever your body needs to do to move energy.
