I've finished listening to Checkmate for the first time, did it before seeing the instructions, but that's kind of typical of me. I got great value from it regardless and spent some time journalling afterwards before preparing for something I have to present this weekend which I thought would be a piece of cake -- until I discovered the hidden "surprise" in the topic (46 surprises actually!) which means what I thought was going to be a checkers match is more like a game of "Go," (which also leaves chess, maybe even 3-D chess, behind in the dust). I will have less than 20 minutes to present, so economy of words will be my biggest challenge. It's me playing against my own wordiness. Hope I'll prove worthy and outwit myself (a sense of humour helps -- I'll find a way to lighten it up). And I'll listen to Checkmate again before drawing up a "checklist"! Thanks for the opportunity to listen to this. It's timely and I'll be back for others!
