To the ones who can feel a deep pressure rising - a friction with old structures, old contracts, old hierarchies that no longer hold us. To those whose strength is being tested today, not by the world but by their own willingness to claim it. We send our light to those refusing to shrink from what they are becoming, who understand that real power is not loud or cruel, but rooted, patient, and undeniable.
May I meet my power without apology.
I claim what has always been mine to claim.
I do not shrink to make others comfortable.
I let the pressure shape me into something truer.
I trust the slow strength rising in my body.
I let go of the contracts that asked me to be smaller.
I stand in my power the way the earth stands in itself.

I recently made a new friend and at the culmination of a half hour's conversation proposed collaboration on a project we have individually procrastinated on, sparked by a casual comment, and both convinced we'd never finish it on our own, based on a lifetime of experience. I came up with a rough plan to ask another friend to informally mentor us if needed and keep each other informed and inspired.
Her plan had been to take a course at King's College a friend had taken, but mine respects both our autonomy/independent natures, and wealth of similar, yet unique experiences and life path, as already collected in private handwritten journals (and sketchbooks in my case) to be transformed into electronic memoirs.
So, I'm as ever wordy, worthy, and now inspired to start another creative project -- one that will simultaneously foster community-building as it will likely expand into a circle, clear some physical space, cull some and crystallize other content, and eventually curate chronicles. Couldn't get much better than that to kickstart next steps. In writing this I've already conjured up another potential collaborator. The seed is being planted.
